Minimum Starting Salary: $72,000

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The Associate Director of Employment Services leads and oversees community-based prevocational, vocational and habilitation programs, ensuring individuals receive high-quality support to secure and sustain meaningful employment and independence in the community. This role involves supervising a dedicated team, developing program curriculums, monitoring outcomes, and fostering opportunities for independence and career growth.

- Comprehensive knowledge of disability service programs and regulatory requirements including OPWDD and ACCES-VR.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DOL regulations and requirements.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and data management.
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and openness to innovation and change.
- Capacity to provide constructive feedback and mentorship to staff.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and program operations effectively
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Human Services, plus five years paid direct service paid experience with the disabled population and three years of supervisory experience.
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, plus five years full-time, paid direct service experience with the disabled population and three years of supervisory experience.
Valid New York State Driver’s License in Good Standing. Reliable form of transportation.
