Land Surveyor

Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for an experienced and licensed Land Surveyor. Our client is a growing multi-disciplined Architecture/Engineering firm that has been serving their clients for 4 decades. They are a full service architectural/engineering firm with seven locations in New York State.

This position will report to the Director of Land Surveying.

This position will primarily be an office role (Rochester) assisting/mentoring with field work as needed.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Assist in performing management duties, including:
• Cost Proposals
• Scheduling Field Crews
• Client correspondence
• QA/QC of survey deliverables
• Mentoring staff
• Ensuring proper field procedures are being followed
• Property and highway boundary research and determination.
• Technical survey duties (adjustments, mapping, etc.)

Qualifications:

• NYS Licensed Land Surveyor required
• 8 years’ experience with Land surveying
• Must be experienced in records research and procedures of boundary line and highway boundary retracement.
• Must have experience with Microstation and/or AutoCAD / Civil 3d
• Experience with Bentley Open Roads, a plus
• Experience with NYSDOT survey procedures, a plus
• Experience with terrestrial and/or mobile LiDAR, a plus
• Experience with sUAS, a plus
• The candidate must work well in a team environment

$95,000 - $120,000
