As a Part-Time Cabinet Specialist at BTB, you'll be directly involved in shaping the final details of our projects. You'll have the opportunity to work on small cabinet installations, make precise adjustments, and tackle punch list items in clients' homes. This client-facing role requires both technical skills and emotional intelligence, as you'll be stepping into sensitive moments in the project. Your calm, respectful, and solution-oriented approach will be crucial to ensuring that everything runs smoothly and our clients are thrilled with the results.

Responsibilities

• Adjust cabinet doors and drawers for proper alignment and function
• Replace cabinet parts such as doors, drawer fronts, and hardware
• Install cabinet pulls and knobs
• Perform small cabinet installations (15 cabinet projects)
• Install laminate countertops and backsplashes
• Address cabinet-related punch list items with professionalism and efficiency
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients on-site
• Work in collaboration with the BTB team to meet and exceed project expectations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful job site
• Document completed work and note any additional needs

Qualifications

• Experience in cabinet installation, service, or light construction
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot on-site
• Comfortable working in client homes during high-stress moments of the project
• Excellent communication skills with a calm and friendly demeanor
• Familiarity with reading cabinet plans or layouts is a plus
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Must provide own basic tools (specialty tools provided as needed)
• Punctual, dependable, and professional attitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. Comfortable working on ladders and in various physical positions (bending, kneeling, standing)
• Ability to safely operate power tools and other installation equipment.

What We Offer

• Part time position
• Open to W-2 or 1099, based on candidate fit
• Competitive hourly rate of $25 to $35, based on experience.
