As a Remote Drafter, you'll be an essential part of our design team, using your technical expertise to create precise, detailed cabinetry plans that help bring our designs to life. Your work will directly impact the quality of the spaces we create, and you'll collaborate closely with designers and project managers to ensure each project meets our high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate and detailed drafting layouts using industry-standard software (e.g., 2020 Design Flex, SketchUp).
• Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
• Review and revise drafts based on feedback from team members and clients.
• Ensure that designs adhere to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Provide support to the design team by offering suggestions for layout and material choices.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions for easy access and future reference.
• Communicate effectively with team members to resolve design or drafting issues as they arise.
• Stay updated on the latest design and drafting trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Drafter, particularly in cabinetry or construction-related industries.
• Proficiency with design software (2020 Design Flex, SketchUp, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret both residential and commercial blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Previous experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Must possess a 2020 Design Flex License, or willing to obtain one.
