Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes. The Landscape Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping tasks to enhance the appearance and health of residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Installing and maintaining landscapes, including planting, mulching, and sod laying
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and edgers
- Pruning trees, shrubs, and other plants to promote healthy growth
- Maintaining hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Cleaning up job sites and ensuring proper disposal of debris
- Following company safety protocols and industry best practices
- Interacting professionally with clients and addressing any landscaping-related inquiries
Qualifications:
- Previous landscaping or horticulture experience preferred but not required
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
