We are seeking a passionate Plant Health Care Technician to join our team and support the growth of our Plant Health Care Department. This role is crucial in delivering eco-friendly, prescriptive plant health care solutions that improve soil health and foster thriving landscapes for our clients. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose plant health issues and develop tailored treatment plans using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles.
  • Administer eco-friendly treatments, including soil amendments and bio-based products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct soil tests and implement organic and sustainable soil health treatments.
  • Monitor plant health regularly and adjust care plans to enhance plant resilience and reduce pest and disease pressure.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to clients, providing education on eco-friendly practices and long-term care strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records of assessments, treatments, and progress for each property.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute comprehensive care plans and share knowledge for continuous improvement.
  • Properly maintain and operate equipment, ensuring safe storage and management of products.
  • Stay informed about new products, techniques, and industry trends, attending training sessions and obtaining certifications as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in plant health care, arboriculture, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles and eco-friendly treatment methods.
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction and education.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and generate reports.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and share insights with the team.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
