Beyond Therapy is a Multi Disciplinary Pediatric and Adult private practice providing therapy services in Central Florida for over 23 years. We are looking for one part time individual (approximately 35-39 hours/week), who is organized, with the ability to multi task in a busy medical office setting while providing the best in Customer Service. Must speak, read and write fluent English and Spanish. Must be able to work well with others and assist with all office tasks. Main responsibility is Insurance verification and must be proficient. Will also learn the early steps process and take over the role of Early steps coordinator. Must work efficiently and be extremely detail oriented. Medical office experience is required.
Part Time schedule: Monday-Thursday 10-7pm, Friday 9-5pm And as needed to fill in. Must be able to close and be reliable.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for total coordination and processing of all patient referrals, including intake, benefits checks and some scheduling. (completing insurance authorizations for all specialty services, EMR entries, Scheduling appointments, answering phones, verification of insurance benefits, communicating with doctors, collecting insurance copays/coinsurances and invoices.)
· Follows protocols for proper authorization and processing of all referrals.
· Communicates with the patient and staff on a timely basis for all scheduling requirements.
· Completes all administrative functions associated with referral activities in a timely manner.
. Coordinates all early steps patients.
· Receives reports, maintains documentation, and routes to the appropriate therapist promptly.
· Assists with credentialing of insurance companies.
· Assists other team members with duties as needed.
· Schedules therapy and evaluations and maintains full schedules
· Qualified, experienced professionals need only apply.
· Applicant requires hands on training for a minimum of two weeks.
