Daytime Porter/Janitor

We are professional, agile, professional and our goal is to Simplify Lives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the facility. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Hours of Work: 7am-4pm Monday-Friday

Overall duties will include removing debris, maintaining common room areas, restocking bathrooms, helping during lunch time, responding to all cleaning emergencies, other as needed.

Experience

- Previous experience in custodial work preferred

- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks is beneficial

As a DayTime Janitor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our school is clean and well-maintained. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors.

Requirements:

- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as required
