POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Redmond based client is looking for an AI Product Manager 3 for an Onsite role in Redmond, WA.The main function of an AI Product Manager is to oversee the application of project management methodology during all phases of the product cycle, with responsibilities that include product design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting. These experts then determine how machine learning and artificial intelligence can help solve certain problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, track and manage project plans, timelines and scope
• Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising
• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements
• Lead and own product initiatives, epics and features that result in the delivery of high-quality software
• solutions that meet business needs
• Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing
• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures
• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses
• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors
• Working with people from many different teams from across Microsoft and backgrounds requiring an open mindset and strong negotiation skills.Be able to identify and partner with other groups to achieve joint or complementary goals.
• Create, maintain, and track project level information and be responsible for status updates, tracking action items and deliverables, create timelines and initiative milestones and strive for cross-team alignment toward them.
• Support product management with actions leading to clarity, decisions across teams, as well as help establish and implement best practices for high quality execution and product delivery.
• A proven track record of successfully managing enterprise-wide projects and shipping high quality products and delivering on time providing measurable impact to be successful in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-7 overall years of experience in related field.
• Must have minimum 6 years’ experience with developing, tracking, and managing roadmap plans.
• Must have minimum 5 years’ experience with preparing and presenting cost-benefit analysis.
• Must have minimum 6 years’ experience with leading and owning product initiatives, epics and features that results in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
• Must have minimum 2-3 years’ experience with Copilot and managing generative AI projects.
• Bachelor's degree in technical fields such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• PMP or PMI certification is a plus.

• A competitive pay range of$59/hr to $68/hr (depending on experience).
• 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
