POSITION SUMMARY:

Our client is seeking a Software Database Engineer for an onsite position in Redmond, WA. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
• Common query and function review, analysis, and creation.
• Data validation and hygiene - investigations into ongoing data misunderstanding corresponding to data engineering solutions.
• Maintene integrity, and availability of common views and Kusto functions.
• Ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for agency IT architectures, and profiles of standards as they apply to the implementation and specific to the solution for the platform, integration with other systems, and the external interfaces.
• Ensure that the common operating environment is compliant. Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of work flows, organization, and planning and develop appropriate corrective action.
• Provide daily supervision and direction to staff.

Qualifications

• Must have 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
• Must have 8-10 years of experience with Python.Must have 8-10 years of experience with Synapse.
• Should have experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages.Should have experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients.
• Should have experience with driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations.
• Should have ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
• Should have experience with Python, Synapse, Kusto, Databricks, Data Pipelines, SQL.

• A competitive pay range of $90/hr - $95/hr (depending on experience).
• Position Location: Onsite - Redmond WA
• 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
• 8 paid holidays per year 1 floating holiday.
