POSITION SUMMARY :
We are currently hiring a Sr. Technician to support our global software client onsite in Boise, ID. This role is technical in nature and the ideal candidate would benefit from experience in an ever-evolving R&D team culture. In this role, you will be providing engineering technician services supporting our clients’ R&D LaserJet development activities. This is a full-time, long-term position with day shift available working at the client-site with a Monday through Friday work week.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
- Conducting both mechanical and electrical support functions to assist with engineering and test activities.
- Supporting fabrication of mechanical parts / test fixtures, electrical design, repairs, and design modifications.
- Conducting operational tests and failure analysis, as well as test verification of product specs.
- Performing HW / FW upgrades.
- Reporting, distribution, and tracking of assigned work and testing.
- Analyzing printer failures and troubleshoot to root cause.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
