Weekend Live-in Caregiver- Brooks, CA

Job Summary

BeyondWell Home Care is seeking a live-in caregiver for a 62-year-old female client in Brooks, CA. The shift starts every other Friday at 8 pm - Monday at 8 pm. We are looking for a compassionate caregiver who is committed to providing support to the client in all areas of her life.

The client needs a caregiver that can take initiative and can adapt to the needs of a diabetic client who loves to stay active. This position requires flexibility, as you will also be traveling with the client on trips (out of state), that may involve schedule changes. There are always two caregivers on shift. Teamwork and communication is essential to providing successful care for this client.

Responsibilities include:

- Provide in-home care and support to the client- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.

-Physical assistance with transfers- Medication reminders- Monitor and record vital signs- Prepare meals and assist with feeding- Provide companionship- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry

In order to work with this client, you must:

- Be registered or willing to register with the Home Care Registry/be able to pass a criminal background check

- Have a Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance

- Have an updated TB test

- Have at least one year caregiving experience

- Must be willing to travel out-of-state with client as needed

- This is a 24-hour shift back to back and eligible for overtime and double overtime

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 72 per week
