Role Requirements
Experience : Minimum 5 years in a Superintendent role or similar.
Communication : Strong oral and written skills.
Tech Savvy : Familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel, digital plan reading, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, and other construction-related software.
Trade Knowledge : Solid understanding of building codes, trade sequencing, and technical aspects of all trades.
Team Player : Coachable, collaborative, and able to work independently.
Task Management : Capable of effectively reading plans, managing deadlines, and ensuring compliance with contracts and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management : Open and secure the job site daily; keep the site clean, organized, and safe.
Quality Control : Guarantee all work meets plans, specifications, and high-quality standards.
Scheduling : Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants on the critical path to ensure timely completion.
Scope Compliance : Verify subcontractors execute their contracted scope of work; identify gaps or out-of-scope items.
Communication : Maintain clear, ongoing communication about RFIs, material submittals, and scheduling with the project team.
Inspections & Documentation : Arrange required inspections and maintain a daily log with photos of job site activities.
Conflict Resolution : Identify construction progress conflicts and work with the project team to resolve them.
Progress Tracking : Oversee 3-week look-ahead schedules; collaborate with Project Managers to update and forecast overall project timelines.
Project Closeout : Conduct punch lists and ensure a positive client experience from start to finish.
