Construction Management Intern - Underground Utilities
Job Summary
The Intern will support all aspects of the construction process related to underground utility construction. This role offers hands-on experience in planning and project management of wet public and commercial utilities such as water mains, sewer, and sewer rehabilitation. The intern will support project managers and superintendents while learning industry standards and practices. The internship is for 12 weeks 5 / 19 / 2025 - 8 / 8 / 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with project management teams and superintendents to plan, schedule, and manage projects and adhere to the contract documents
- Assist in the development of the work and site safety plans
- Review plans and specifications to determine material selection, procurement, and tracking
- Compile data to accurately produce change orders to ownership
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents, estimators, clients, subcontractors, and vendors in all aspects of the project.
- Adhere to safety procedures and standards to be maintained on-site, including trench safety, traffic control and environmental regulations
- Work closely with the project management team to compile and submit monthly billings to ownership.
