Inventory Controller

The Inventory Controller maintains an accurate record of warehouse inventory levels and product storage locations by reviewing audit reports, investigating discrepancies and updating systems accordingly.

Compensation Data: Non-exempt hourly pay based on experience.

Travel: None

Location/Schedule: Onsite in Bloomingdale, GA. M-F, 8-5 with flex and occasional overtime

Key Responsibilities:

1. Runs and reviews daily inventory reports and investigates product quantity or location disparities between the warehouse system and ERP.

2. Creates and reviews daily cycle count activity and investigates the differences between hand counts and system records.

3. Investigates instances of zero pick to identify and resolve misplaced or lost inventory.

4. Coordinates inventory recount activities by identifying priorities and assigning personnel to verify the accuracy of initial count.

5. Prioritizes high dollar inventory discrepancies and adheres to procedures for inventory write offs.

6. Performs lot control for product expiration and coordinates product disposition with the buyer or category manager.

7. Performs data entry to record corrective transactions.

8. Communicates and collaborates effectively with closely related work teams with email and pictures (order management, sales, customer service, etc.).

9. Maintains a clean and safe working environment.

What you will need to succeed:

Education & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Good primary math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Good computer skills.

Competencies:

• Attention to detail.
• Experienced in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Can be certified to use material handling equipment.
• Can safely traverse the warehouse as necessary.
