ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record keeping of project events and project quantities.
- Contract document review and interpretation.
- Site inspection of the work for compliance with the contract documents.
- Materials testing.
- Organize and participate in project meetings.
- Efficiently use basic software including Word and Excel.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. College degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- INDOT certification credentials of Certified Technician and INDOT SiteManager are preferred, but not required.
- A strong understanding of Algebraic concepts is required.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished inwritten, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to follow company QC/QA procedures.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes outdoors, and some physical exertion may be necessary.
