Job Purpose
The Content Strategy Manager is responsible for leading the content team in the planning, development, deployment, and reporting of BG’s marketing strategy. This encompasses digital and print publications to our target audiences being—The BG Distributor Network, Automotive Dealerships, Automotive Aftermarket Service Shops, and Vehicle Owners. They will work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts (SME’s) to develop compelling copy for the purposes of marketing, training, and other support materials.
Duties and Responsibilities

? Lead and manage the content marketing team including training and development of staff, setting of department and individual goals and superior marketing outcomes.
? Lead the content strategy team in the tasks of planning, creating, and deploying content for all B2D (business to distributor), B2B (business to business), and B2C (business to consumer).
? Develop and manage the organization’s brand voice, ensuring consistent messaging and representation across all communications, marketing, and advertising channels.
? Oversee the production of high-quality, engaging content for a variety of channels, including the organization's websites, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
? Responsible for digital campaign budget goals and results.
? Collaborate and contribute to the development and execution of integrated marketing, advertising campaigns, leveraging a variety of channels to drive engagement & generate leads.
? Create processes for planning, creating, deploying and tracking project activities and results.
? Manage all external and internal communications to our distributor network, dealerships and repair shops, and vehicle owners.
? Oversee all facets of content strategy, including organic search engine optimization, conversion rate optimization, social content / promotion, digital marketing, white papers, etc. involved in written (print / digital), video, or audio format. Leading the content creation and alignment across audience targets with the Brand’s vision via articles, blogs, ad copy, social media posts, webinars, point of sale material, and more.
? Liaison between Proving Ground, Product Technology, Business Development and Training Departments for content creation.
? Build out and execute against a robust content strategy and calendar that feeds across all channels (online and offline)
? Direct supervision of ongoing maintenance of developed content in all medium – written (digital / print), video, & audio
? Guide Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in writing, editing, and presenting of material for external publications, training, bulletins, etc.
? Manage and monitor content update cycles/processes for the databases and their usage. Define expected update / maintenance review frequency.
? Assist in the creation of print, digital, video, and audio content.
? Track engagement across various platforms and make data driven decisions.
? Assist with editing, improving, and writing content as needed.
? Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, communications or related fields is preferred.
? Minimum of five years of work-related experience, in marketing, advertising, sales or related fields.
? Minimum of three years of management or supervisory experience required.
