QUALIFICATIONS:
DEGREE/EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or Education Equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
EXPERIENCE:
-
2-4 years of working in public relations
-
2 years of proven social media campaigns to increase brand awareness across different social media platforms
- 2 years developing and reviewing web traffic metrics and engagement analytics
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Secret Security Clearance (or higher), or the ability to obtain one, is required

U.S. Citizenship: Workers performing under this contract must be US Citizens

Must have a clear background in order to obtain security clearance and a CAC
-
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Effectively use correct grammar and spelling in all written communications.
- Familiar with organizational structure and operation methods of National Guard (preferred).
DUTIES:
Special project management, organization coordination, and public relations management are crucial to effective staff coordination, enabling the separate branch chiefs of the G-1 office to produce a unified staff product to the G1 and support senior headquarters staff.

Manage, synchronize, and de-conflict calendars to support readiness events for the G-1 with all GAARNG organizations

Compile and distribute weekly slide presentations, coordinating with branch chiefs and ensuring compliance with professional standards

Perform statistical analysis on collected data to summarize qualitative and quantitative information for decision-making and performance measurement

Coordinate monthly locations for statewide conferences, execute site preparations, and synchronize all products to be used during the event

Coordinate and support transition events, quarterly Soldier Readiness Program (SRP) events, promotions, G-1 sync meetings, and other state G-1 events.

Prepare, compose, update, and edit internal and external correspondence, forms, and reports.

Prioritize and track time-sensitive events and suspense dates to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Input, retrieve, and store data for reports using approved systems, using various software programs to maintain database files and prepare reports, including spreadsheets, briefings, charts, and graphs

Research, compile, analyze, and summarize data to provide accurate information for briefings, reports, presentations, and meetings.

Coordinate conference calls between headquarters staff and subordinate elements of the organization

Provide administrative assistance for quarterly SRP events as needed
-
Process and maintain all administrative records while safeguarding sensitive information
-
Manage and oversee social media content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms, posting daily updates, while developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to promote brand awareness and engagement

Use web traffic metrics and engagement analytics to measure the success of social media campaigns, and monitor user engagement to recommend optimizations

Provide mobilization support, including travel arrangements, for G1 operations
- Performs various coordination and administrative support functions, including gathering information, compiling data, preparing reports, and responding to customer service inquiries.
