We are looking to hire a part-time Leasing Consultant for a beautiful Lease Up Community on Johns Island! The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Leasing Job Duties
- Tenant Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, handling complaints, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Leasing and Marketing: Assist with the leasing process, including marketing available units, showing properties, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and supervise routine and emergency maintenance and repairs. Ensure that maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
- Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with property standards and address any maintenance or safety issues.
- Administrative Support: Perform administrative duties such as preparing reports, maintaining tenant records, handling correspondence, and assisting with budgeting and financial tracking.
Leasing Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in multifamily property management
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. (ex. Yardi, Entrada, Appfolio, OneSite, BlueMoon, etc)
- Attributes: Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Licensing: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Property management certification (e.g., CAM, CPM) is a plus but not mandatory, however Fair Housing training is required
