Our client is seeking an Applications Analyst to provide primary support for enterprise applications across multiple departments. This role involves application configuration, testing, troubleshooting, SQL scripting, and report development, working closely with stakeholders to meet evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary application support, assisting users across various departments.
- Perform application testing, including developing test plans, executing test cases, and troubleshooting issues.
- Configure and update applications based on user requests while managing changing priorities.
- Develop and modify reports and forms using Crystal Reports and SQL queries.
- Write SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, updates, and reporting.
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including process owners, departments, IT teams, and consultants.
- Maintain and update system documentation and user guides.
- Assist in end-user testing and training, ensuring a seamless experience for application users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience providing application support in a business or public sector environment.
- Proficiency in SQL queries and scripting for data extraction, inserts, and updates.
- Hands-on experience with Crystal Reports for report development and modifications.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in an application support environment.
- Ability to support users with issue resolution, data analysis, and reporting needs.
- Experience with end-user testing, including test plan creation and execution.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in public sector IT support or working with municipal systems.
- Experience in automating workflows and enhancing application functionality.
