We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the property management team in overseeing daily operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining the property’s standards. Responsibilities
- Assist in the leasing process by showing properties to prospective tenants and facilitating lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate files and records related to tenant applications, leases, and property maintenance.
- Manage Section 8 housing applications and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track interactions with tenants and prospects.
- Coordinate maintenance requests through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Handle conflict management effectively, mediating disputes between tenants as necessary.
- Stay informed about property management laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all operations.
- Support the office administration tasks including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and best practices.
- Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with tenants and vendors.
- Proficiency in property management software and tools.
- Experience with conflict management techniques to handle tenant disputes professionally.
