Our client, a industry leading PE backed business located in downtown Nashville, is looking to add a Financial Analyst to their team as they continue to grow. This role will fill a key role within the Finance organization, supporting for a wide range of activities such as financial reporting and strategic analysis. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, identifies opportunities for cost optimization, and contributes to the overall financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance and accounting, business acumen, critical thinking proficiency, and strong communication skills. The candidate must be customer centric and be able to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex, and global business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare timely reports, dashboards, and presentations, highlighting key drivers and financial insights. Assist in the interpretation and communication of financial results to key stakeholders
- Assist in the development of financial forecasts and annual budgets, collaborating with team members to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure accuracy in financial projections
- Perform financial analysis and modeling to support business decision-making, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Gather, organize, and maintain financial data in a structured and accessible manner, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Assist in the analysis of costs and expenses, providing insights into cost drivers and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Contribute to special financial projects as assigned, such as profitability analysis, market research, or process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and accurate results.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting)
- A proven track record of academic and professional excellence
- 1-3 years of relevant finance experience, focus on Financial Planning and Analysis preferred
- Intellectual curiosity with strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to work with financial data and perform calculations accurately
- Basic understanding of financial statements, financial ratios, and key financial metrics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
