Job Title: Groundskeeper/Custodial Worker (Part-Time)
Location: Tupelo, MS
Schedule: 8-5 M-F
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a part-time Groundskeeper/Custodial Worker. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of the property grounds, as well as performing light custodial duties to ensure the common areas are clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, be self-motivated, and take pride in keeping the property in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain the property grounds, including sidewalks, parking lots, and landscaped areas.
- Remove trash and debris from common areas, walkways, and parking lots.
- Sweep, mop, and clean entryways, hallways, and other common areas.
- Perform light custodial duties, such as cleaning windows, doors, and outdoor furniture.
- Assist with minor landscaping tasks, including trimming, raking, and watering plants.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the property management team.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are safely and properly stored after use.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, custodial, or maintenance work is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Work Hours:
- Fulltime M-F 8am-5pm
Compensation: $15-$16/hr
