Job Overview
As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the real estate industry by assisting potential tenants in finding their ideal living spaces. Your primary responsibilities will include leasing apartments, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
Duties
- Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and highlight key features
- Process lease applications and renewals
- Utilize negotiation skills to secure lease agreements
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities using Yardi or similar software
- Assist with real estate administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with tenants and prospects
- Handle Section 8 housing inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Resolve tenant conflicts and address concerns promptly
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional services or amenities
Experience
- Prior experience in leasing or property management is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with real estate laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is a plus
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and conflict management skills

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
