What are the responsibilities and job description for the Measurement Analyst position at BGSF?
Our client is seeking a Measurement Analyst to join their team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of production data. This role will work closely with business unit teams, field personnel, and production accountants to manage measurement data, troubleshoot discrepancies, and optimize measurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Run FLOWCAL exception resolver daily and resolve identified issues weekly.
- Estimate production data when information cannot be recovered.
- Maintain and evaluate facility balancing on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Ensure production data across the asset is consistent and accurate.
- Import and evaluate meter proving, meter calibration, and liquid/gas analyses for data quality and compliance.
- Manage end-of-month close processes and track field measurement issues.
- Publish clear and timely communications on measurement and product validation activities.
Qualifications
- Software Skills: Proficiency in FLOWCAL, SQL databases, and Spotfire is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Oil and gas experience with location balancing, calibrations, and measurement operations.
