Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting
📍 Garland, TX | Hybrid
We've partnered with a fast-growing telecommunications company with over $600MM in revenue and 1,000 employees across the U.S. and Canada seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to join their Accounting team.
As the company continues to grow—most recently through two strategic acquisitions—they're looking for someone who can step into a high-impact role supporting financial reporting, consolidations, and month-end close in a PE-backed environment.
🔐 What You’ll Be Doing:
✅ Drive preparation and consolidation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow)
✅ Lead 70% of your time on financial reporting and consolidations—including integration of newly acquired U.S. and international entities
✅ Handle complex Excel reporting and consolidation tasks using advanced Excel (Macros required)
✅ Support the month-end close process and corporate accounting activities (30% of the role)
✅ Interface regularly with banks, PE partners, and internal stakeholders
✅ Collaborate across systems including JD Edwards and NetSuite
🎯 What You Bring:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
✔ 5 years of Financial Reporting experience
✔ Experience in a Private Equity-backed company (required)
✔ High Excel proficiency (macros a must)
✔ Stellar communication skills and a confident, team-oriented mindset
✔ Experience with JD Edwards and/or NetSuite is a plus
📍 Location & Schedule:
🏢 Hybrid: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote (potential for 3/2 schedule with strong performance)
