What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accounting Manage position at BGSF?
BGSF has partnered with a company seeking to hire for position of Senior Accounting Manager.
Location in Lafayette, Louisiana with full onsite work model.
This role will be a business partner to one of the business segments ($20MM) responsible for providing financial, business, and accounting guidance. Position responsible for the day-to-day accounting including month end close, GL transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and assisting with various financial analyses.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA preferred (not required)
- 7 years of accounting experience (open to heavy Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager ready for next title level)
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
- OneStream a plus
- Experience at a company with Fixed Assets highly desired (understanding of fixed asset concepts)
- Manufacturing, Heavy Service, or Oilfield industry background
