BGSF has teamed up with a large manufacturing company to hire a Logistics Compliance Coordinator on a direct-hire basis. This role offers excellent benefits and is based in an office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Negotiate and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure efficient transportation and storage solutions.
- Use demand planning techniques to forecast inventory needs and optimize stock levels.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, contracts, and materials management systems.
- Collaborate with supply chain management teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain government documentation completion within compliance standards.
- Manage proof of import and export documentation, such as commercial invoices, entry summary, and packing lists.
- Maintain research components of US import and export regulations.
Requirements
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working in the logistics field.
- Experience with importing and exporting required.
- Experience working with government compliance standards.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills.
