Under the general supervision of Management, is responsible for the completion of promotional and marketing initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Execute Promotion Plans created by the Director.
· Merchandising assistance.
· Attend BGSU recruitment and other events.
· Serve on internal committees as required.
· Works with Lead Graphic Designer and Production Manager to monitor and supervise student schedules & staffing.
· Clerical duties.
· Assist in web improvements, video production, and content management.
· Manage and create Social Media content.
· Manage LCD advertising and content scheduling.
· Assist in collecting market research projects.
· Track promotional effectiveness and monitor progress.
· Knows and adheres to Bowling Green State University and BGSU Dining rules and regulations.
· Communicates positive values to staff and customers through actions and provides high-quality customer service.
· Support the mission, core values, and practices of BGSU.
· Deals with emergencies.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Associates degree, Bachelor’s preferred.
· Knowledge of computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and graphics programs. Proficient in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient in Adobe Suite with a specific focus on PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premier Pro. Experience in Graphic Design, VCT or related design fields preferred.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner. Marketing and promotions creativity. Planning skills.
· Prior experience in Social Media Stream Management
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
