Overview
We are seeking a dedicated General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail stores. It is the general manager’s responsibility to ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, managing employees, and more. Good candidates are adept leaders with strong business minds and a knack for organization and collaboration. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator who has a strong ability to delegate responsibility and collaborate across a range of departments. Ultimately, the general manager should be driven by a desire to lead our business to maximum productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals
- Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, and market share
- Experience in conducting performance evaluations
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
- Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
- Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved
- Maintain inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize store performance
- Coordinate with various departments to meet customer needs effectively
- Proven experience in a General Manager or similar role within the retail industry is a plus
- Familiarity with R-Series POS system is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proven success in a managerial role
- Strong decision-making ability
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
- Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans
