ROLE OVERVIEW - NURSE PRACTITIONER
BH Wound Care is in search of per-diem Wound Care Nurse Practitioners to deliver conservative and advanced regenerative wound care solutions to patients in these areas. Flexibility to provide your own schedule.

YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in wound care.
- Experience in regenerative wound care is a big plus!
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with healthcare-related technologies, data, and software.
- Previous cross-functional roles and experience collaborating within a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Technical proficiency, adaptability, and quick learning.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AT BH WOUND CARE
- Become an expert wound care specialist, providing excellent customer experiences to patients with chronic non-healing wounds.
- Achieve quarterly goals by consistently delivering exceptional care and administering biological applications when necessary.
- Experience significant personal and leadership growth through our comprehensive training and education program.
ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Valid state license to practice Medicine as an NP.
- Prior Wound Care experience and/or Wound Care Certification.
- Patient-centric approach.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment used in wound care.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. or more, reposition patients, and possess a full range of mobility.
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
YOUR ASSIGNMENTS
- Conduct thorough physical exams of patients.
- Select, order, and perform tests and procedures tailored to the patient's needs.
- Creating a plan of care for patients.
- Diagnose and document patient conditions.
- Recommend necessary medications and/or Surgical/Wound Care Dressings to facilitate healing.
- Ensure patient satisfaction by adhering to BH Wound Care standards of care.
- Provide patient education and management.
- Actively participate in departmental activities for continuous improvement.
- Travel to patients' homes and health care facilities as required.
COMPENSATION
Total compensation potential of up to $180,000 per year, with significant opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
WORK LOCATION
As a mobile Nurse Provider, you will be required to travel in order to provide treatments to our homebound and healthcare facility patients.
