Sr Software Test Analyst

Position :  Software Test AnalystLocation :  RemoteEmployment Type :  ContractImportant :  This position is contingent upon contract award, with an expected start date of May 1, 2025.As an expert-level Software Test Analyst, you will lead the testing process across all phases, from planning to execution. You will develop automated test scripts, collaborate with stakeholders, and support troubleshooting and root cause analysis to maintain the integrity of critical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform system, regression, and user acceptance testing across multiple phases of software development.Analyze system requirements to create test data, test plans, and scripts to validate functionality.Lead testing activities, ensuring communication of requirements, test case reviews, and team coordination.Develop and execute automated testing scripts for web applications, mobile platforms, and web services.Conduct end-to-end, performance, and smoke-testing to ensure application stability and reliability.Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with business analysts to resolve production defects.Minimum RequirementsAssociates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelors or Masters degree preferred).5 years of software testing experience, with at least 2 years in web-based software, Edifecs file processing, EDI transactions, or integrated eligibility systems.Hands-on experience with automated testing practices, tools, and frameworks.Proven ability to design, develop, and execute test automation scripts.Expertise in leading testing activities and reviewing test cases for accuracy and effectiveness.Preferred QualificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex system functionality.Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain technical concepts effectively.Experience in Health Insurance Exchange or Health and Human Services systems is a plus.Familiarity with tools and services such as Selenium Web Driver, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, BrowserStack, JMeter, SoapUI, and AI testing tools.Proficiency in testing frameworks like TestNG, Maven, RestAssured, and Hybrid Automated Test Frameworks using Java.Legal DisclaimerBH Zion is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
