Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work closely with robotics engineers to integrate gripper systems seamlessly with robotic platforms.
- Ensure compatibility and optimal performance of grippers within the broader automation framework.
- Provide technical support for deployed gripper systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary repairs or modifications.
- Develop preventive maintenance plans to ensure long-term reliability and functionality of gripper systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of gripper designs, testing procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
- Create user manuals and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement and adhere to quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality grippers.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Clean, configure, and repair gripper modules to meet production demands.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
- Works well independently and with others.
- Good communication skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years’ experience preferred
- Manual machining experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
- Must be able to visually inspect machines.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
