BHC is seeking a focused and adaptable Staffing Manager to join our dynamic Home Care Leadership team. Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required, College degree preferred.
- Licensure: Must have current driver’s license
- Transportation: Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.
- Experience: Supervisory, Customer service, and Scheduling - preferably in high volume.
Salary:
- $45,000 to $50,000 Annually
- On Target Earnings up to $55,000
SKILLS:
- Ability to lead and motivate while providing direction.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees, clients, and senior leadership.
- Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop solutions to improve scheduling efficiency.
- Ability to communicate and pivot daily activities, responsive to the needs of current and future employees.
- proficient in all technology platforms and has ability to learn software programs quickly and efficiently.
- Proficient in electronic and hard copy documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Forecast hiring needs and communicate needs with Recruiter.
- Create and manage the caregiver schedule, meeting the needs of the clients with the most viable caregiver.
- Work closely with the Care Manager to ensure all the client’s needs are being met by our caregivers.
- Anticipate possible gaps in the schedule and resourcefully and proactively find solutions so that all clients get the services desired.
- Assist in mentoring new hires on their first scheduled shift so they know what is expected from them.
- Work with the leadership team to enhance productivity and bottom line.
- Lead and manage all caregivers within assigned territory.
- Coach and provide feedback to staff and/or corrective actions when needed.
- Work with Recruiter and Care Manager to ensure staff are properly trained and prepared to perform their duties within policy, regulations, and the satisfaction of the client/family.
- Assist in achieving regulatory compliance for care staff to include documenting notes in AxisCare and completing performance reviews on caregivers.
- Maintain accurate client and employee records in multiple databases.
- Review and approve shifts to ensure hours and rates are accurate.
- Proactively manage overtime.
- Assist in taking inbound calls and directing them to appropriate party.
- Be available to your staff by phone Monday through Friday and partake in a rotating on-call schedule during the weekends.
- Put process in place to ensure all shifts get covered or fill in on open shifts that need coverage due to call outs and/or staffing shortages.
