What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Treatment Assistant position at BHC?
Responsible for supervising/monitoring behavioral health clients in a residential substance abuse treatment program. Assist clients in housekeeping tasks and daily living skills, including but not limited to: cooking, laundry, cleaning, shopping, and other life activities. Interact constructively with residential clients- assisting with homework, processing meeting topics, conflict resolution, enforcing program rules and discipline. The position requires facilitation of entry level weekend treatment programming and data entry into the agency electronic data management system. Position requires monitoring client/family visits. Overtime and extended hours may be required to ensure adequate staffing.
Position requires valid operator's license and insurable driving record.
Minimum age requirement: 21 YOA
Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
