The Opportunity
As the Project Manager, you will join the firm at our Cincinnati, Ohio office and be responsible for leading the Experiential Graphic Design team by managing high-volume clients through proposals, scheduling, coordination of work flow and quality assurance. Your work will require you to have highly developed expertise in project management, technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and demonstrated skill in developing/leading professional growth of team members. This management level role provides the opportunity to pursue professional growth while contributing to BHDP’s vision of creating visually-rich, storytelling experiences through graphic design.
Role Priorities
- Manage clients and project teams through the design process on multiple complex projects.
- Utilize operational management tools including workload forecasting, resource planning and project team development.
- Create and foster relationships with key clients, while managing client expectations.
- Coordinate artwork selection to integrate with strategic concepts.
- Maintain project budgets to ensure profitability.
- Coach, mentor and develop staff, including identifying and recruiting high quality staff with leadership potential.
- Apply interpersonal communication skills to build strong working relationships, resolve conflicts and collaborate across internal disciplines.
- Promote a workplace culture that is consistent with the BHDP Collective Ambition.
Skills Qualifications
- 7 years’ experience in project management and building successful teams
- A propensity to build trusted client relationships
- A professional degree
- Experience with Architectural projects preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced knowledge with technology (e.g., MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud)
- A drive to achieve
