Your Role The Opportunity
The Lead Architect will leverage their architectural expertise to ensure projects are delivered within the scope and budget and aligned to the BHDP Design Process. Serve as the strategic and day-to-day point of contact for clients and manage full project life cycle (write proposals, develop project plans, manage plan progress). The Lead Architect – Client Relationship Manager will elevate the client relationship beyond project management, leveraging firm capabilities to cultivate additional design projects from existing clients. The Role Priorities
- Responsible for leading large-scale projects (net fees $1.5M - $2M) and ensuring delivery on all aspects of the project, which includes maintaining fee proposals, managing revenue forecasts, and ensuring project staff is achieving their targets related to financial metrics and quality metrics.
- Develop project work plans and actively manage the plans to ensure successful and timely completion. Assume full responsibility for the project’s progress.
- Maintains responsibility for fully embracing and executing the Design Process on all assigned projects, and regularly monitoring the use of the Design Process and communicating the steps and benefits to staff and clients.
- Partner across key leaders of the organization to align project requirements with employee capabilities and availability.
- Responsible for continuously mentoring and developing both direct reports and project staffing alignment with the firm’s cultural attributes.
- Serve as the main point of contact within BHDP for key clients for active and future design projects.
- Support the development of the firm through the growth of client relationships. Share firm expertise and capabilities with existing and targeted clients.
- Actively participate in BHDP’s culture of continuous improvement by regularly sharing expertise, knowledge, and wisdom with internal team members.
