BHE GT&S is seeking a highly skilled LNG Operations Technician to join our team at our Cove Point facility in Lusby, MD. As an LNG Operations Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment and systems within the facility.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate Distributed Control System (DCS) consoles and LNG process systems.
- Maintain plant utilities including air waterpower/steam generation GTG operations sanitation and nitrogen.
- Monitor and perform operator duties for the loading/unloading of LNG ships.
- Analyze chemistry and adjust chemical concentrations as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or equivalent experience in industrial setting process/product chemical engineering or operations power plant operations.
- Recent experience in processing environment cryogenic natural gas processing hydrocarbon processing or control room environment.
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry laboratory concepts techniques and environmental regulations.
- Strong analytical reasoning skills laboratory skills instrumentation skills and mathematical skills.
