Job Description
BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity for an Energy Operations Technician at our Cove Point facility in Lusby, MD. As an Energy Operations Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining liquefied natural gas (LNG) import/export and liquefaction/re-gasification terminal equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate Distributed Control System (DCS) consoles and LNG process systems, understanding and adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor the loading/unloading of LNG ships.
Requirements
- Five (5) years' experience in an industrial setting, process/product chemical engineering, or operations.
- Full knowledge of analytical chemistry and laboratory concepts and techniques, particularly as they relate to analytical techniques for high-purity water.
