This is an exciting career opportunity for a Technical Trainer or Sr. Technical Trainer at BHE GT&S. We are looking for someone who can maintain technical subject matter expertise and understanding of current business processes. As a subject matter expert, you will act as a go-to person in specific areas of technical (operational) expertise. Your primary duties will include conducting hands-on technical training and operator qualification portions of the new hire training program. You will also work with contractors to ensure operator qualification and drug and alcohol plan compliance in a timely manner.
Requirements and Responsibilities
Some of your key requirements will include: In-depth subject matter expertise in technical areas of instruction; A thorough understanding of business processes related to the area of instruction; Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design; Proficiency in equipment operation/troubleshooting; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent personal computer skills; Ability to work well with minimal supervision; Ability to analyze job tasks and develop training materials.
