Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Trainer or Sr Technical Trainer to join our team. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to support the development of technical skills in our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training programs to support the development of technical skills in our employees.
- Maintain technical subject matter expertise and understanding of current business processes.
- Act as subject matter expert in specific area of technical (operational) expertise.
- Conduct hands-on technical training and operator qualification portions of the new hire training program.
- Work with contractors to ensure operator qualification and drug and alcohol plan compliance in a timely manner.
Requirements
- In-depth subject matter expertise in technical area of instruction.
- Thorough understanding of business processes related to area of instruction.
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design.
- Proficiency in equipment operation/troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent personal computer skills.
