About the Position
The Process Engineer Assistant is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of our liquefied natural gas terminal. This includes assisting with the operation and maintenance of plant utilities, equipment, and process systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial operations and a strong understanding of safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of plant utilities, equipment, and process systems
- Support the implementation of safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate records of operating performance data
- Collaborate with the shift supervisor and lead operator to resolve plant problems and improve reliability and safety
Requirements:
- Five (5) years' experience in an industrial setting or related field
- Full knowledge of analytical chemistry and laboratory concepts and techniques
- Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve equipment or process problems
- Ability to conduct site inspections or walk downs, including working at heights
