At BHE GT&S, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer or Sr. Technical Trainer to join our team. This is an exciting career opportunity that offers flexibility in work locations, dependent on selected candidates' location.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who can maintain technical subject matter expertise and understanding of current business processes. As a subject matter expert, you will act as a go-to person in specific areas of technical (operational) expertise. Your primary duties will include conducting hands-on technical training and operator qualification portions of the new hire training program. You will also work with contractors to ensure operator qualification and drug and alcohol plan compliance in a timely manner.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have in-depth subject matter expertise in technical areas of instruction. You should also have a thorough understanding of business processes related to the area of instruction. Additionally, you must possess knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design, proficiency in equipment operation/troubleshooting, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent personal computer skills. You will also be required to work well with minimal supervision, analyze job tasks, and develop training materials.
