BHE GT&S is seeking a qualified Compressor Station Operator to join our team at our Burch Ridge location in Proctor, West Virginia.
The ideal candidate will have experience with compressor stations and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair compressor station equipment
- Monitor and control compressor station operations
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and filter replacements
- Respond to emergency situations and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the facility
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of experience in a related field (compressor stations, industrial maintenance)
- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
