What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Supervisor, TKO position at BHI Senior Living?
The Knolls of Oxford, a continuing care retirement community, located in Oxford, OH, is seeking full-time compassionate RN Supervisors to add to our nursing team! We’re currently looking for a fulltime night Supervisor (7p-730a). The pay range for this position is $38.00- $44.00 per hour. Pay is based on prior experience. There is a $2.00 shift differential for night shift starting at 7p.
There are a few PRN night shifts also available. Minimum requirements for PRN status are 3 shifts per month!
As RN Supervisor your responsibilities include but are not limited to coordination of admissions, transfer, and discharge processes. Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc. Consider problems with vision, hearing, mobility, etc. when communicating or working with residents. You participate in the orientation of new residents/family members to the facility, communicate with physicians appropriately and review the resident's chart for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, etc., as necessary. You make clinical rounds on unit and with MD as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff (LPNs, STNAs, RCPs) on the assigned shift
- Monitor resident care and ensure adherence to care plans and safety protocols
- Respond to and manage emergencies and changes in resident conditions
- Conduct rounds to assess resident status and staff performance
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Communicate and work collaboratively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members as needed
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with facility policies and state regulations
- Promote a positive and respectful work environment, supporting teamwork and staff morale
- Previous supervisory experience, 3-5 years of experience
- Must have high levels of patience and compassion for the elderly.
- Demonstrate professional excellence and customer service to residents and their families.
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience (Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care a plus!)
