What are the responsibilities and job description for the High Voltage Electrical Estimator position at BHI?
BHI is searching for an Electrical Estimator who is a well-rounded electrical estimator with extensive knowledge in medium voltage, overhead line, high voltage and substation. This estimator will manage projects from initial customer/business development contact to the final job setup. They will assist with project buy-out and set the groundwork for the operations team to execute according to the estimate. The right candidate will be able to manage their own time because they are self-motivated and self-directed. They must take ownership of the entire estimating process, but no bid will be submitted without formal review by estimating and operational management. This isn't a remote position and applicants must be willing to work out of one of our offices.

For this critical role, we are willing to pay $80,000 to $110,000 and above depending on experience. If you have what we're looking for, your salary is highly negotiable! QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR
- Extensive experience estimating industrial power & controls electrical projects
- Electronic take-off and estimating software experience
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Medium voltage, overhead line, high voltage, and substation experience required
A degree in construction management and extensive estimating experience is preferred, but multiple factors will be considered.
