AR Rep - 1602

A growing food company is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative to manage the company’s receivables and ensure timely and accurate payments. Hours: 8-5. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• Accounts Receivable Management:

  • Process and manage incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure collections are made promptly.

• Billing & Invoicing:

  • Generate and send out invoices to customers.

  • Review billing discrepancies and resolve any issues in a timely manner.

• Customer Communication:

  • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding payments and resolve any payment-related issues.

  • Provide customer support related to billing inquiries and account statuses.

• Data Entry & Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of accounts, payments, and transactions.

  • Reconcile accounts and prepare regular AR reports for management.

• Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Report on accounts receivable aging and help identify any risks or concerns.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting software.
