Controller - 1587

A large company involved in manufacturing and eCommerce is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee a team of 6-10 people and manage the company’s financial operations. This role will involve overseeing the budget, P&L management, monthly financial statements, and accounts payable/receivable processes.

Responsibilities Include:

• Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of 6-10 accounting professionals to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.

  • Provide guidance, support, and training to team members.

• Financial Oversight:

  • Oversee and manage the company's budget, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial goals.

  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

  • Manage P&L to ensure profitability and identify areas for cost optimization.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable:

  • Supervise the AP and AR processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections.

  • Monitor cash flow and make adjustments as necessary to meet financial targets.

• Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.

  • Prepare financial reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on data.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations.

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure financial strategies align with business goals.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting/finance role, preferably in manufacturing or eCommerce.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, P&L management, financial reporting, and AP/AR processes.

• Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
