Job Description
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stockist. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and unpacking clothing shipments, inspecting garments for quality and potential defects, and accurately recording inventory data into our system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work 12:00 PM - 6:00/7:00 PM shifts in our fast-paced stockroom environment.
- Receive and unpack clothing shipments, carefully inspecting garments for quality and potential defects.
- Accurately record inventory data into our system to ensure seamless stock management.
- Maintain the stockroom to ensure efficient inventory management and optimal storage of merchandise.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that merchandise is readily available on the sales floor and visually appealing.
- Replenish stock as needed to keep displays fully stocked and meet customer demand.
- Follow merchandising standards to enhance display visual presentation and create an engaging shopping experience.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory levels and identify areas for improvement.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
- Prior experience in retail or inventory management is beneficial, but not required. We offer comprehensive training to help you succeed in this role.
- Be able to lift and move heavy boxes of merchandise, up to 50 pounds, with ease and precision.
- Show basic computer skills for inventory data entry and adaptability in learning new systems.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating openly and collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues and customers.
