Job Description:
Baptist Health Medical Group is looking for a Physician Integration Coordinator to join their team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN.
Provides system-wide analytical decision support for the Directors and Executive Director of Contracting, the VP of Physician Integration, and BHMG Senior Leadership. Coordinates physician contracting documents and compensation analysis for development of physician related contracts to include new physician employment agreements, renewal physician employment agreements, and professional services agreements. Provides management of the contract renewal process and tracking of supporting documentation.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains a schedule of physician contract renewals for the current fiscal year and tracks the progress/timeline for analysis, development, and execution.
- Position is responsible for facilitating the overall timely workflow of the contracting process for employed physicians and independent providers:
- Develops compensation overviews, term sheets, contract request forms, and compensation modeling for new physician agreements, amendments, and renewals
- Monitors, reviews, and edits templates for content and accuracy
- Communicates with operations/recruiting to research and verify information submitted for physician candidates
- Collaborates with legal department to create, edit, and confirm details for final contracts
- Collaborates with physician compensation department to confirm final payments, base rates and/or adjustments, and accuracy of payroll entry
- Manages the distribution and tracking of physician agreements for e-signature via Cobblestone Contract Management System
- Conveys accurate physician details to human resources/onboarding/physician compensation to begin candidate’s employment
- Creates, submits and tracks necessary documents for the Executive Review Committee (ERC).
- Manages and distributes Approved & Pending Positions Report (APR)
- Oversees the Cobblestone Contract Management System
- Creates and provides reports to key stakeholders
- Provides support for system-wide contracting initiatives.
- Provides support to the Director, Physician Contracting for the immigration process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration or related field, experience in lieu of degree will be considered (additional 5 years). Master’s degree in related field preferred.
- 3 years experience in healthcare working closely with physicians, medical practice operations experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, sales and marketing skills, and leadership skills
- Strong performance management skills and experience with an emphasis on change management
